The First Thanksgiving Plate

The hand painted original primitive style design on this wooden plate features a scene showing Pilgrims and Wampanoag Indians preparing for a Thanksgiving feast.
A couple of saltbox houses, a country church and a primary school are in the background.
The plate measures 11 1/2 inches in diameter, is sealed with matte varnish and has been signed. This item would be a great addition to your own  folk art collection, or perfect to fill with goodies and use for a gift.
The design on this plate can be adapted for other surfaces, such as wood bowls or trays.
