A horse drawn sleigh dashes across the countryside in this primitive winter landscape that has been hand painted on a wooden plate that measures about 11 1/2 inches in diameter.

Colorful saltbox houses dot the snow covered hills as the moon shines in the snowflake filled sky. A snowman, black cat and little brown dog watch the sleigh zip by. 

The plate is signed and the back is a mottled dark brown.

Although the plate intended for decorative use, it is would be great for serving cookies, cupcakes, or other foods if covered with plastic wrap. This plate would be a unique item to add to your own Christmas folk art collection or to use as a gift.
